Debt: The First 5,000 Years

Like Diamond, Graeber can be meandering and circular. I don't know if I trust his categorization of human epochs and there are sections that I think are flat out incorrect. But there's a lot of good material here, and his perspective is unique enough to make it a worthy read. It's challenging, sometimes needlessly so.
